MoI: Abu Gharieb escapee prisoner netted in Kut

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Interior announced capturing an escapee prisoner escaped earlier from Abu Gharieb Prison (currently named Baghdad Central Prison).

Spokesman of Ministry of Interior, Saad Maan, stated to IraqiNews.com “A joint Iraqi Army and Police force managed to arrest the terrorist, Ali Naji Mnahi al-Shimmari, who escaped earlier from Abu Gharieb Prison.”

“The arrest is implemented in an exceptional operation in Suwaira district of northern Kut city,” he concluded.
