Mortar shell attack wounds 2 women in Granada south of Baqubah

(IraqiNews.com) Diyali – A security source in Diyali province said on Sunday, that two women had been injured in a mortar shell attack on the village of Granada south of Baqubah.

The source said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “This evening, four mortar shells fell near residential houses in the village of Granada (25 km south of Baqubah), resulting in the injury of two women,” adding that, “The injured were transferred to a nearby hospital to receive medial treatment, while a security force began to trace down the source of the shell fire.”
