Najaf announces completing security plan dedicated for birth anniversary of Prophet Mohamed (PBUH)

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The municipal and religious authorities in Najaf province announced completing all the preparations related to commemorate the birth anniversary of our great Prophet Mohamed (PBUH).The Head of the Security Committee in Najaf Provincial Council, Khalid al-Jash’ami, reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The security plan dedicated for the birth anniversary includes spreading more than (25,000) security elements to provide protection throughout the roads that lead towards the holy shrine of Imam Ali.””The number of security checkpoints was increased and the vehicles movement was banned over the Old City since the city was divided into three security cordons in order to facilitate the procedures for all arrivals to get to the nearest place to the holy shrine of Imam Ali,” the statement concluded. \END\
