New security plan implemented in Diyala

Diyala, Baquba (IraqiNews.com) The Police Command of Diyala province announced executing the security plan related to Ramadan holy month.

The Commander of Diyala Police Department Major General, Jamil al-Shimmary, stated to IraqiNews.com on Thursday that ”The police started since, today, Thursday the implementation of the special security plan allocated for the holy month of Ramadan which will include two main subjects.”

The Commander added that ”The first subject included providing the protection for the cities and mosques as well as the Shiite mosques through deploying the police patrols all the day long.”

The Commander continued saying that ”The second subject of the security plan included establishing conferences and symposiums for both the Shiite and Sunni endowments by inviting young people and elders in order to promote the reconciliation among all the slices of society.”

The Commander pointed out that ”The Police Command will organize group tours to visit religious shrines in order to unify the people of the province and eliminate the rest of terrorism.” \
