Ninewa Command detains Finance Minister of underground group
NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A source in north Iraq’s Ninewa Province has announced on Monday that his forces have detained the “Finance Minister” of the so-called “Islamic State of Iraq,” east of the city of Mosul, the center of Ninewa Province. “A force from Ninewa’s Intelligence & Security Operations Command has detained on Monday morning the Finance Minister of the so-called “Iraq’s Islamic State,” in Mosul, called Falah Hammoudi Marzouq, demanded according to Article-4 – Terrorism,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Marzouq used to occupy the post of the Military Emir (Prince) for west Iraq’s Haditha township and then for the city of Beiji of Salahal-Din Province, whose detention was achieved through cooperation with one of the formations of Iraqi Army’s 2nd Division, centered in Mosul,” he noted.
