Ninewa police capture 3 gunmen

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Ninewa policemen captured three gunmen of the self-styled Islamic State of Iraq with documents and letters belonging to the armed group in their possession in central Mosul on Saturday, a local security source said. “The three were arrested at a police checkpoint in the area of al-Ghizlani, central Mosul. The security forces seized their vehicle and papers as well as Iranian, U.S. and Iraqi banknotes,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The detainees are remanded under investigative custody,” the source added, not giving more details.
