Police arrest 2 wanted men in Kut

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: Police forces arrested on Tuesday two wanted men in eastern Kut, according to a police source. “Quick Response Department forces waged on Tuesday (Sept. 28) a security raid in Anwar al-Sadr region in eastern Kut, where they arrested two wanted men for their involvement in implementing armed attacks against civilians and security forces,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The operation was launched in accordance with arrest warrants issued against a number of wanted persons,” he explained.
