Policeman killed, 2 others injured western Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Policeman was killed while two others were injured on Saturday when an Improvised Explosive Device blew up targeting police patrol to the west of Baghdad.

Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “An IED that was emplaced on a roadside in While Gold neighborhood associated with Abu Ghraib district, 25 km to the west of Baghdad, exploded targeting police patrol, thus resulted in killing a policeman and wounding two others as well as damaging one of the patrol’s vehicles.”

“A security force rushed to the explosion spot, then transported the two injured to a hospital while the dead body was sent to the morgue,” the source said.
