4 policemen killed, others injured in Diyala

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) Four policemen were killed and other injured when unidentified gunmen opened fire at their checkpoint in al-Tahrir quarter of central Baquba city of Diyala province.

A security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Friday “Unidentified gunmen opened fire targeting a police checkpoint in al-Tahrir quarter in Baquba city on Thursday night.”

“Four policemen were killed and others were injured,” he added, noting that “The security forces seized the area and transferred the injured elements to the nearby hospital for treatment.”
