QRD arrests 5 gunmen in Babel

BABEL / IraqiNews.com: Quick Response Department forces arrested on Tuesday five gunmen for attempting to attack Karbala visitors, according to a security source. “Quick Response Department forces in Babel arrested on Tuesday afternoon (Dec. 7) five gunmen for planning to attack Karbala visitors,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “One of the gunmen was arrested near al-Mahaweel, north of Hilla, while two gunmen were arrested in al-Askandariya district, north of Hilla and the remaining two were arrested in al-Musayab region,” he added. “The operation comes within the security plan prepared in the province during Muharam month,” he said.
