Security forces arrest several wanted individuals in Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The security forces arrested several wanted individuals, including a fugitive from Abu Ghraib prison, in various areas of Baghdad.

A statement by Baghdad Operations Command received by IraqiNews.com cited “A security force of the second brigade of the 11th Division seized a weapons cache comprising 11 Improvised Explosive Devices in Rashdiya area where another security force arrested a terrorist group emplacing IEDs to target the pilgrims of Imam Hussein of southern Baghdad.”

“A security force defused an IED and destroyed a shelter for the terrorists in Naji al-Dawood area of northern Baghdad in addition to arresting one of the fugitives of Abu Ghraib prison,” the statement concluded.
