Iraqi security forces control Mount Hamrin, al-Fatha areas in Salahuddin

(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – A source in Salahuddin police announced on Tuesday, that the security forces and al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia have managed to regain control over the areas of Mount Hamrin and al-Fatha in the province.
The source said in an interview to IraqiNews.com, “The security forces and al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia imposed today full control on Mount Hamrin and al-Fatha areas north of Tikrit.”
The source, who requested anonymity, added, “Dozens of ISIS members escaped Sharqat and Hawija districts.”
