Security forces kill 3 suicide bombers tried to get close to Anbar University
(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Iraqi Anti-Terrorism Force announced on Tuesday the bombing of three suicide bombers tried to get close to al-Anbar University that has been liberated earlier today.
Deputy Commander of the Anti-Terrorism Operations in Anbar province, Brigadier General Abdul Amir al-Khazraji, said: “three suicide bombers tried, this evening, to get closer to the University of Anbar, but our personnel stationed on the walls of the university opened fire against them and detonated them remotely.”
Khazraji added: “the process did not result in casualties in the ranks of our fighters.”
