 Security forces liberate 4 villages northwest of al-Baghdadi vicinity

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – The commander of al-Jazeerah Operations, Maj. Gen. Ali Ibrahim Dboun, announced on Tuesday, that the security forces and clan fighters managed to liberate four villages from ISIS northwest of al-Baghdadi vicinity.

Dboun said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “Security forces belonging to the army’s Seventh Division as well as the police and clan fighters had managed to liberate the villages of Ebla, Abu al-Ela, al-Sawer and al-Judafiya in the vicinity of al-Baghdadi (90 km west of Ramadi),” noting that, “These forces raised the Iraqi flags over a number of buildings in those [villages].”

Dboun also added, “The liberation process of the villages came after the killing of 23 ISIS terrorists and the destruction of two booby-trapped vehicles driven by suicide bombers.”
