Security forces raise Iraqi flag in Tel Abu Jarad area south of Baiji refinery

(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – A security source in Salahuddin province announced on Tuesday, that the security forces were able to raise the Iraqi flag over the buildings of Tel Abu Jarad area south of Baiji refinery after completely purging the area from ISIS elements, noting that the troops managed to kill the ISIS military leader in Baiji refinery.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The forces of the federal police and Anti-Terrorism have been able today to liberate Tel Abu Jarad area (5 km south of Baiji refinery) and raised the Iraqi flag over all of its buildings, after fully freed it from ISIS control.”
The source, who requested to remain anonymous, added, “The security forces were able to kill the ISIS military official in Baiji refinery, Abu Abdullah al-Arabi.”
