Shia paramilitary force raises Iraqi flag over government headquarters in Baiji

(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – On Sunday, Shia militia of Kataib Imam Ali announced, that the Kataib forces have raised the Iraqi flag over the local government headquarters in Baiji District.
The Kataib said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The Kataib Imam Ali forces were able to raise the Iraqi flag over the local government headquarters in Baiji District,” pointing out that, “The district of Baiji has been fully liberated from the ISIS elements.”
Earlier, an official of the Righteous Movement, Qais al-Khazali, announced the liberation of Baiji.
