Soldiers and civilians killed in Yusufiya after al-Hashd al-Shaabi withdrawal

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – An informed source revealed on Saturday, that a number of civilians and Iraqi army soldiers had been killed, while ISIS members started to spread in al-Yusufiya axis after the withdrawal of al-Hashd al-Shaabi from these areas.
The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The members of al-Hashd al-Shaabi withdrew from al-Yusufiya axis due to the cut of their salaries.”
The source added, “ISIS groups started to appear in the villages of Karrat Ghoul and Tanki and killed a number of the Iraqi army members,” pointing out that, “ISIS detonated a number of houses and burned others due to the absence of al-Hashd al-Shaabi members.”
