Suicide bombing in Falluja leaves 39 casualties

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: At least nine civilians were killed and 30 others were wounded in a suicide bombing attack in southern Falluja, a police source said Wednesday. “A suicide bomber blew up a car rigged with explosives in al-Ikhaa residential compound in southern Falluja on Tuesday night (Oct. 6), killing nine and injuring 30 civilians,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The blast destroyed 24 civilian vehicles and caused material damage top nearby stores,” he added. Falluja is 45 km west of Baghdad, while Ramadi, the capital of Anbar, lies 110 km west of the Iraqi capital. SH (P) 1
