Suicide bombing left 8 casualties in security forces near Saidiya
Diyali (IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, a security source in Diyali province stated, that 8 security elements including armed volunteers were killed and injured today in a suicide bombing in eastern Baqubah.
The source informed IraqiNews, “A suicide bomber driving a car targeted a security camp when the bomb went off in military area near al-Saidiya, located 60 km northeast of Baqubah. The explosion has killed a police officer and 2 tribal fighters as well as injuring 5 others.”
“The security authorities shortly blockaded the area and took strict procedures while advancing towards new residential blocks and neighborhoods near al-Saidiya” said the source.
