Sulaimaniya protests casualties up to 124 – medic

SULAIMANIYA / IraqiNews.com: Three citizens were killed and 121 were wounded in the clashes that accompanied protests in the city of Sulaimaniya, a medical source said on Monday. “Casualties from the clashes that erupted three days ago in the city of Sulaimaniya went up to three dead and 121 wounded,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. Director of the Sulaimaniya Hospital, Hawar Hassan Naqshabandi, had said earlier that one person was killed and 48 were injured in the clashes. Hundreds of protestors went to street last Thursday calling for better services and living conditions and fighting corruption. SH (TP) 1082
