Sunni Endowment Staff killed in Baghdad blast
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com – An employee from the Baghdad’s Sunni Endowment has been killed in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast that had been attached to his car late Saturday night. The blast wounded a man and a woman that were accompanying him, a security source said Sunday. “An IED, stuck to a civilian car, belonging to an employee in the Sunni Endowment, blew up late Sunday night in west Baghdad’s Yarmouk Street, killing him on the spot, and wounding a man and a woman who accompanied him,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said the explosion had also caused damage to the car. The wounded man and woman were taken to hospital for treatment. SKH (TP)/SR 1055
