Sunni Endowment Staff killed in Baghdad blast

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com – An employee from the Baghdad’s Sunni Endowment has been killed in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast that had been attached to his car late Saturday night. The blast wounded a man and a woman that were accompanying him, a security source said Sunday.   “An IED, stuck to a civilian car, belonging to an employee in the Sunni Endowment, blew up late Sunday night in west Baghdad’s Yarmouk Street, killing him on the spot, and wounding a man and a woman who accompanied him,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   He said the explosion had also caused damage to the car.
