Turkish warplanes bombard border areas in Dohuk province
(IraqiNews.com) Dohuk – Local witnesses in Dohuk province on Wednesday said that Turkish warplanes attacked the border areas of the province and this has gripped the local populace in a rein of terror and has created a panic-like situation.
Zaeem Kashani, one of the witnesses, while giving an account of the chain of events and speaking to the reporters said, “Yesterday evening Turkish warplanes carried out a massive air raid in the surrounding areas of the border village of Kashan in Zakhu district of Dohuk Province.”
“The attacks resulted in the destruction of large tracts of forests and orchards”, Kashani further said, adding, “The bombing lasted for more than an hour and this has created a panic-like situation among the local population.”
