Turks – Iranians arrested for burglaries in Arbil

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: A number of Turks and Iranians were arrested for burglaries and deceipt against the citizens, Arbil police sources said here today.  The source added that the number arrested since last February has reached 16 detainees.  General Abdul Khaliq Tal’at, Police Director, said in a press conference that they were arrested in currency exchange centers.  During the conference, video clips were shown on how their tricks were to deceive the others.  General Tal‘at added that forged Turkish currency was found on them.  RM (TP)/SR 505
