Two brothers affiliated with special groups arrested in Babel
BABEL / IraqiNews.com: Joint Iraqi-U.S. force arrested two brothers suspected of being members of the Special Groups during a raid on their house in northern Babel, a source from the province’s police said on Wednesday. “The force raided a house in Yuniss neighborhood, 40 km north of Hilla, and arrested two brothers, who are suspected of being members of the Special Groups,” the source told IraqiNews.com. He did not mention further details, but noted “The force seized arms in the house.” The U.S. army in Iraq uses the term Special Groups to refer to gunmen trained, funded and armed by Iran.
