U.S. forces release 50 detainees from Fallujah
ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Anbar police on Tuesday announced U.S. army forces released 50 detainees, all residents of Fallujah. “The U.S. army released 50 detainees all residents of Fallujah and its nearby districts from U.S.-run Bucca and Airport prison after clearing them of all charges,” Anbar police source told IraqiNews.com. “U.S. forces handed over detainees to Falluja police department after they were proved innocent of all charges,” the source noted. The U.S. army has released 100 detainees, who were residents of Fallujah, so far in October 2008. Fallujah, 45 km west of Baghdad, is a major town linking Anbar, Baghdad and the south of Iraq AM (P)/SR 1
