Unidentified body of woman found in Diala

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: Policemen in Diala found an unidentified body of a woman in her 20s south of the district of Mandili, 55 km northeast of Baaquba, on Friday, a local police source in the province said. “Most probably the woman had been killed by her relatives,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Medical examinations showed that the woman was strangled to death about seven days ago. The agencies concerned have not received any reports on the missing or kidnapping of a woman during that period of time,” the source said. “The woman could not be identified as the body was decomposed by the lapse of time,” he added.
