Unidentified gunmen kill civilian east of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi police announced on Friday the killing of one civilian in an armed attack in Palestine Street east of the capital Baghdad.

The source, who requested to remain anonymous, told IraqiNews.com, “This evening, unidentified gunmen attacked a running vehicle belonging to a civilian near Beirut Square in Palestine Street and shot him, resulting in his death on the spot,” pointing out that, “The security forces cordoned off the area of the incident and transferred the dead body to the forensic medicine department, while opened an investigation into the incident.”
