Urgent – former IA pilot assassinated in Baquba

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) Unidentified gunmen assassinated a pilot officer of the former Iraqi Army with silenced weapons in central Diyala province.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Tuesday “Unidentified gunmen attacked the house of Khudair Abbas al-Fadhli who used to be a Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Pilot in the Air Forces of the former IA and shot him dead immediately by silenced weapons in Saad camp in Baquba district of central Diyala province.”

“The gunmen managed to flee to unknown destination while the police transformed the dead body to the morgue and launched investigations about the incident,” the security source added.
