Urgent – IED explodes in central Baquba

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) A number of policemen were injured in central Baquba district of Diyala province on Thursday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “An Improvised Explosive Device went off targeting a police patrol in front of the Oil Products Department in Baquba,” noting that “The IED explosion resulted in injuring a number of policemen and burning a patrol vehicle.”

“The security forces blocked the explosion area and transferred the injured to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
