URGENT: ISIS spokesman confirms Baghdadi’s injury in Mosul
(IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, Sky News Arabic revealed that the spokesman for the Islamic state in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) confirmed the injury the organization’s leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in an air raid near Mosul.
The channel said in a newsflash followed by IraqiNews.com, “A tweet attributed to a spokesman for ISIS confirmed the injury of terrorist group’s leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in an air raid by carried out the international coalition planes near Mosul.”
ISIS spokesman, Abu Mohammed Al-Adnani is Syrian, and his mission is to speak on behalf of the organization and broadcast audio statements via websites and social media networks. Al-Adnani was announced injured by Iraqi Interior Ministry, alongside 45 ISIS elements injured and dead in an airstrike western Anbar.
