Urgent – .official survives big explosion in Diyala

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) A member of the Accountability & Justice Commission survived while more than 20 persons were killed and injured due to explosion that targeted a host in Diyala province.

The AJC’s member, Salah al-Jubouri, told IraqiNews.com on Monday “An explosion has occurred targeting the host of Sheikh, Mudhir Ibrahim al-Jubouri, in Qara Taba village in Diyala when a number of his tribe’s members and his relatives gathered over the murder of two of his sons on last Sunday due to an armed attack.”

“The explosion was severe that caused demolishing the host in full on the attendants where it is expected to kill and injure no less than 20 persons from those inside the host,” Jubouri added.
