US deploys “most terrifying” A-10 warplanes in Iraq

(IraqiNews.com) On Friday, a British newspaper revealed that the United States has recalled 12 A-10 warplanes from Afghanistan to Kuwait to hit targets of the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), describing them as “terrifying”, armored against rockets and missiles type of planes that can decline 50 feet to its ground objectives.

The British newspaper Daily Mail said in a report followed by IraqiNews.com, “The United States has recalled its A-10 warplanes from Afghanistan to Kuwait to conduct patrols over Iraq and Syria, and hit targets of the ISIS organization in the coming days.”

The newspaper added in its report that the “terrifying” A-10 warplanes decline to up to 50 feet to its ground objectives .They are armored and protected against fire and RBG7 anti-aircrafts rockets.
