Vehicles movement ban imposed in Diyala

Diyala, Baquba (IraqiNews.com) The security forces in Diyala province banned the vehicles movement in Baquba city the capital of Diyala province.

Security source reported to Iraqi News IraqiNews.com that ”The police forces imposed movement ban on all cars and vehicles on the entrances and exits of Baquba city till further notice on the background of the car bomb explosion which took place in Muqdadiya district on Sunday and resulted in killing and injuring 16 persons.”

The source added that ”The resolution of the movement ban is based on intelligence information reported that there are some armed groups intending to conduct terrorist operations in the city.”

Earlier, A car bomb exploded, in Muqdadiya area (40 KM) to the north of Baquba city the central of Diyala province, resulted in killing and wounding several civilians who were near the explosion area.

The Governor of Diyala province, Hashem al-Hayaly, demanded in statement to IraqiNews.com to move quickly to address the security breaches and the security file in the province.

A Parliamentary Committee has been formed, Today, on Sunday from both of the Security and Defense Parliamentary Committee and the Human Rights Parliamentary Committee to figure out the truth in Diyala province on the background of the recent terrorist operations and the security breaches which took place in the areas of the province. \
