Visitor killed, 6 injured in Mahmoudiya
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A visitor of Imam Hussein Bin-Ali’s 40th Martyrdom Day Anniversary has been killed and 6 others injured in an explosive charge blast in Mahmoudiya township, south of Baghdad, on Monday morning, a security source reported. “An explosive charge blew up early on Monday on the main highway that passes through Mahmoudiya township south of Baghdad, aimed at visitors of Imam Hussein‘s 40th Martyrdom Day Anniversary,” the security source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “One of the visitors was killed and another 6 wounded, who were driven to a nearby hospital for treatment,” the source noted.
