Wanted individuals arrested northern Babel [01/18/2014]

Babel (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Security Forces arrested seven wanted persons according to Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law and defused five bombs emplaced in Jurf al-Sakher district of northern Babel.

Security source from the Mid-Euphrates Operations Command reported to IraqiNews.com “Security forces arrested seven terrorists and dismantled five bombs emplaced on the borders of Amiriyat al-Fallujah of Anbar province and Jurf al-Sakher of Babel province.”

The force transported the detainees to the investigation office in Babel province to realize their identities and locate the shelters of the gunmen of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria who sneaked to the farmers of the Jurf al-Sakher to flee from the bombardment in Amiriyat al-Fallujah, the source added.

The source mentioned that “The security force intensified their presence in Jurf al-Sakher to avoid sneaking of gunmen into the district attached to Musayeb district (65 km) to the north of Babel province.”
