Wanted man netted in Wassit

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: Policemen in Wassit arrested a wanted person in a manhunt in the northern part of the province on Tuesday, a security source said. “A police force from the province tracked down five wanted men north of al-Kut city today, arresting only one while the others managed to escape to an unknown place,” the source added. “The detained man is wanted by Iraqi security authorities on charges of having committed murders and kidnappings,” he said. “The arrest took place in accordance with a warrant from the prosecution,” the source added.
