Washington launches 12 air strikes on ISIS sites in Iraq and Syria

(IraqiNews.com) On Saturday, Joint Task Force announced that the international coalition warplanes launched 12 air raids on sites belonging to the ISIS organization in Iraq and Syria.

The Force said in a statement reported by Reuters and followed by IraqiNews.com,”Targets were bombed in Iraq included buildings, vehicles and an oil refinery belonging to the ISIS in six air strikes near al-Assad, Mosul, Fallujah, Qaim and Baiji.”

It added that six air strikes took place near the Syrian city of Kobanî on the Turkish border, destroying buildings and sites and combat vehicles belonging to the Islamic State.”

The US-led international coalition carried out months ago air strikes that targeted ISIS sites ISIS in Iraq and Syria. The size of ISIS losses has not been yet revealed.
