Wasit police executes security plan for Ramadan

Wassit (IraqiNews.com) Wassit Police Command announced executing the security plan related to Ramadan holy month.

Commander of Wassit Police General Hussein Abdul Hadi Mahbouba stated to reporter of Iraqi News “All the security departments in the province participate in executing the security plan in order to provide secure environment for the citizens during Holy Ramadan.”

General Mahbouba described the plan as “Strict and flexible,” to secure mosques, shopping centers and gatherings.

He mentioned that “Wassit security forces succeeded to arrest 26 criminals according to Article 4 of Anti-Terrorism Law, stealing gang in Kardhiya area of southern Kut and a theft gang in Damouk area of eastern Kut.”
