Woman arrested before attacking Shiites in Diala

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: Security forces arrested on Thursday a woman who was planning to blow herself up in Baaquba, chief of the local council’s security committee said. “An Iraqi security force arrested on Thursday a drugged woman near Abdulkarim al-Madani mosque in central Baaquba,” Muthanna al-Tamemi told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The woman confessed that she belongs to al-Qaeda and she was planning to blow herself up near a Shiite gathering in Baaquba,” he added.
