840 companies take part in Baghdad International Fair
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The activities of the 47th version of the Baghdad International Fair kicked off on Wednesday, under the auspices of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, with the participation of 840 companies from different countries.
The director of the State Company for Iraqi Fairs and Commercial Services, a subsidiary of the Iraqi Ministry of Trade, Mustafa Al-Ani, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that the current version of the Baghdad International Fair is unique in terms of the number of participating countries, which reached 20 from different parts of the world.
Al-Ani indicated that many deals are expected to be concluded at this economic forum, where participants will also exchange experiences.
The Iraqi official revealed that 226 Iraqi companies from different sectors such as electricity, healthcare and medical equipment, telecommunications, agriculture, food industry, clothing, fashion, furniture, banking, tourism, and advertising are taking part in the current version of the Iraqi exhibition.
The current exhibition is taking place in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, between January 10 and 19.
