E-commerce firm Pure Platform acquires license to operate in Iraq
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The e-commerce and finance solutions provider Pure Platform has signed an operating licensing agreement with the Iraqi government.
An important milestone in Pure Platform’s growth plan has been reached with the seven-figure purchase of the renewable license by the International Smart Card Group (ISC), the company that owns Qi Card, Wamda reported.
The firm had an over 300 percent increase in sales in 2022 and over 600 percent growth in 2023, culminating in an 8-digit cumulative revenue at the end of the year. This contract comes after the company had considerable growth in 2023.
The CEO and founder of Pure Platform, Moe Alkhafaji, stated that this strategic partnership with ISC strengthens the company’s presence in the region and increases its operational capabilities in Iraq.
Pure Platform connects Saudi and Iraqi clients with merchants in the US, Europe, the Gulf, and Turkey through a smooth e-commerce experience that is based on better technology and an intuitive interface.
Pure Platform was founded in 2019 in Chicago, USA, with an approach consisting of two main components: an operational subsidiary that was just founded in Saudi Arabia, and a technical and intellectual property-focused division that is committed to advancing e-commerce through technological innovation and automation.
