Finance Ministry discusses financial, economic cooperation with Netherlands

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The Iraqi Minister of Finance, Taif Sami, discussed on Tuesday the cooperation and partnership in financial and economic fields with the Dutch Ambassador to Iraq, Johannes Lindert, according to a statement cited by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The statement mentioned that Sami received on Tuesday Lindert, in the presence of a representative of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During her meeting with Lindert, Sami emphasized the strength of the relations between Iraq and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and the continuous development and growth it is witnessing in all fields, especially in the financial and economic fields, according to the statement.
Sami also stressed the need to continue developing the horizons of cooperation and partnership, and pushing it towards more advanced levels for the benefit of the two countries and the people, the statement clarified.
Lindert expressed the aspiration of the Dutch government to enhance the constructive cooperation with Iraq, particularly with regard to financial and economic cooperation, investments and contribution to sustainable development projects in the country, the statement added.
