Iraq ranks first in buying real estate properties in Turkey
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – According to the Turkish Statistical Institute, Iraqi investors are ranked first among Arab nations for buying real estate properties in Turkey, having purchased a total of 36,391 homes there. Each year, thousands of Iraqis travel to Turkey, which has led to significant investments into the country.
With a total of 8,442 properties bought during the past seven years, Kuwaiti investors are rated second among Arab investors for real estate acquisitions in Turkey. The top real estate purchasers from the Arab world according to the Turkish institution also include Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, Yemen, Lebanon, and Sudan.
Iraqi real estate investors are offered a variety of incentives for Turkish property acquisitions, including the potential of obtaining Turkish citizenship for real estate ownership worth $250,000 or higher in the nation.
