Iraqi citizen body found near Belarusian-Polish borders

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – Belarusian patrol agents discovered on Saturday an Iraqi national’s body on the border with Poland, according to a statement issued by the State Border Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
“On the Belarusian-Polish border, a body of a man without warm outdoor clothing was found on November 19, by a border patrol. The corpse was located not far from the gate in the Polish barrier,” the statement mentioned.
The nature of the marks left at the border indicates that the body was moved from Poland to Belarus, the statement elaborated.
“Documents of an Iraqi citizen were found with the deceased,” the statement explained.
The statement clarified that an investigative team was called to the scene to establish the circumstances of the incident and the cause of death and that investigations are underway.
In the same area, on October 2, a corpse of a refugee was found near the Polish barriers near the gate, and on November 8, a Syrian citizen beaten by Polish security forces was found, the statement added.
