Iraqi PM confirms readiness to cooperate with the UAE in several fields
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, affirmed on Thursday the government’s readiness to cooperate in several fields with the UAE, during his meeting with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, according to a press statement issued by the Prime Minister’s press office.
The statement elaborated that Al-Sudani arrived in the UAE on Thursday in response to an official invitation he received from the UAE.
The meeting addressed the bilateral relations between the two countries, and the importance of developing cooperation in various fields, the statement mentioned.
The two leaders also discussed several regional and international issues of common interest, the statement explained.
Al-Sudani affirmed that his response to this invitation is an expression of the deep relations between Iraq and the UAE, and a representation of the common aspirations to develop these relationships, the statement clarified.
Al-Sudani indicated the Iraqi government’s readiness to build distinguished economic partnerships that benefit the people of both countries.
Al Nahyan thanked Al-Sudani for accepting the invitation, and stressed that the UAE hopes to develop the relations with the current government, towards more constructive cooperation and economic integration.
