Iraqi PM receives official invitation to visit the UAE
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, received an official invitation on Wednesday to visit the UAE, according to a press statement issued by the Prime Minister’s press office.
The statement explained that Al-Sudani received UAE’s Minister of Justice, Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al-Nuaimi, and his accompanying delegation in Baghdad.
The Iraqi Prime Minister expressed Iraq’s relentless endeavor to maintain the best relations with the United Arab Emirates, and to strengthen the partnership and cooperation at various levels and fields, the statement mentioned.
The statement added that Al-Nuaimi handed Al-Sudani an official invitation from UAE’s leadership to visit the United Arab Emirates to discuss the development of bilateral relations and to strengthen the friendship and cooperation with Iraq.
Al-Sudani and President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, discussed in early November the importance of developing the partnership and coordinating the stances to face economic challenges at the regional and international levels, and to achieve security, stability and sustainable development for the countries of the region, according to the Middle East News Agency (MENA).
