Iraqi PM visits Basra ahead of the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup
Basra (IraqiNews.com) – In order to check on the most recent preparations for hosting the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup beginning on January 6, 2023, the Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Al-Sudani visited the Al-Minaa Olympic Stadium and the Basra International Stadium in Basra, Iraq.
Al-Sudani went over several plans, projects, and initiatives that had been provided by the Minister of Youth and Sports, the Mayor of Basra, the President of the Iraqi Football Association, advisers, security personnel, and leaders of service organizations.
The Iraqi Prime Minister also declared that Iraqis will be able to watch free television broadcasts of the tournament football matches.
Al-Sudani praised the employees’ efforts at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Iraqi Football Association, and the Basra Governorate for the commitment they showed to fulfill all the conditions for the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s office.
