Iraqis celebrate the Procession of Palm Sunday in Qaraqosh

Mosul (IraqiNews.com) – Proud Iraqi Christians celebrated the Procession of Palm Sunday in Qaraqosh, Iraq. Located between Mosul and Erbil, the city is an integral part to many Iraqi Assyrians. In March 2021, Pope Francis visited Qaraqosh, showing his support to the community that has been battered by ISIS insurgents between 2014-2016.
