Iraq’s oil exports to US decreased

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) announced on Sunday that Iraq’s oil exports to the United States decreased over the past week.
The EIA mentioned that the average US imports of crude oil during the past week from nine major countries reached 6.2 million barrels per day, an increase of 792,000 barrels per day compared to the previous week, where oil imports were 5.4 million barrels per day, Shafaq News reported.
Iraq’s oil exports to the United States were 64,000 barrels per day last week, decreasing by 128,000 barrels per day compared to the previous week, when oil imports from Iraq were 192,000 barrels per day.
The EIA indicated that most of the United States imports of oil during the past week came from Canada at an average of 4.18 million barrels per day, followed by Mexico with an average of 756,000 barrels per day.
The United States imported an average of 413,000 barrels per day from Saudi Arabia, an average of 264,000 barrels per day from Brazil, 212,000 barrels per day from Colombia, 147,000 barrels per day from Nigeria, 150,000 barrels per day from Ecuador, and 7,000 barrels per day from Libya.
