Iraq’s oil exports to US rise to over 8 million barrels in April
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Tuesday that Iraq’s oil exports to the United States surpassed eight million barrels during April.
According to the EIA, Iraq’s crude oil exports to the United States in April were approximately 8.86 million barrels, with an average daily shipment of 295,000 barrels, more than Iraq’s oil exports to the US in March, when they were 5.48 million barrels, with an average daily export of 176,000 barrels.
Crude oil exports from Iraq to the United States during the first week of April were 142,000 barrels on average per day; in the second week, 308,000 barrels; in the third week, 309,000 barrels; and in the fourth week, 307,000 barrels on average per day.
The EIA mentioned that Iraq was the fourth-largest oil exporter to the United States during April, following Canada, Mexico, and Saudi Arabia, and the second-largest oil exporter in the Arab region, following Saudi Arabia.
According to the EIA, Canada was the largest oil supplier to the United States in April, followed by Mexico.
